Demo Results Animation is a Gecko code created by AdolescentSeagull. It recreates the animation used by the US and EU demos of MKDD to display the results of a Grand Prix/LAN race. Since this animation is tied to the portraits that appear on the left, it does not trigger for 3-or-4-player splitscreen races.
There exists a variant when the character portraits don't leave the screen - this can be handy when using the Wait at end of LAN race code to show the rankings of all participating racers in a LAN race. Additionally, there is also the option to use codes that would centre the portraits when playing MKDD with a 16:9 (widescreen) view.

Technical information
Inside of the archiverace2d.arc, there is a layout file called resultrace.blo which was used by the US/EU demos to position the 8 portraits on the middle of the screen. Even though the arrangement was not used in the final retail versions, this file still remains in the game's filesystem. This cheat code reuses the coordinates from this file.
