Overview
MKDD Extender is a tool used for extending Mario Kart: Double Dash!! with 144 extra custom race tracks and 54 extra custom battle stages.
Features
MKDD Extender follows the same custom course format that the MKDD Track Patcher defines.
Most of the custom courses available in this wiki are compatible with the MKDD Track Patcher, and, therefore, are also compatible with the MKDD Extender.
Note: Unlike the MKDD Track Patcher, the MKDD Extender does not support custom characters.
Usage
MKDD Extender needs to be provided with the following items:
- A retail ISO file of the original Mario Kart: Double Dash!! game. All regions are supported.
- A directory containing the custom courses that will be inserted in the game.
Once the directory that contains the custom courses is specified, drag & drop the custom courses from the left-hand side pane onto each of the slots in each of the course pages in the main area.

The generated ISO file can be played in Dolphin, and, if the ISO size doesn't exceed the official limit (1459978240 bytes), the extended game should be playable in GameCube and Wii as well.
In the game, use D-pad Up / D-pad Down in the SELECT CUP or SELECT COURSE screens to switch between different course pages.
