Overview
MKDD Text Maker is a tool created by tarsa129. It is used to easily make course / character names for menus and logos.
Usage
Basic Usage
Open the GUI, and enter you text in the text box. Then, click on the "Make Text" button. By default, this will create a 256 x 32 image, which is the appropriate size for course names.
To save the image, click on the "Save Image" menu option, and choose your desired option.
Other settings
- Image size can be changed in the image size menu. There are options for character name default, auto size, and a custom size
- Overlap between letters, space between words, and the image scaling can be manually changed to fit the text into the image.
- For characters, the Vertical Scaling should be set the 75%, and the Horizontal Scaling should be set to around 75%.
- The alignment of the text can be changed using the "Alignment" menu. By default, text is center-aligned.
- The "Color" menu allows you to set background colors / gradients for the text and outline. You also have the option to save / load gradients for the text.
- Double clicking on the created image will copy it to your clipboard.
Limitations
This tool will create text that is 32 pixels high. It is not recommended for use outside of course and character names / course logos. Upscaling the images created by this program will likely result in grainy, undesirable images.
