Version History

Version Date of release Information
v1.0 2023-04-10 First release
v1.1 2023-04-11 Changelog:
  • Expanded checkpoints
  • 2nd GP camera slightly improved
  • Marginally improved enemy points
  • Marginally improved cave lighting
  • CPUs cheat less obviously on the cannon
  • Skybox's UV mapping actually seamless now
  • Fixed skybox btk bug
v1.2 2023-04-25 Changelog:
  • Disabled lens flare in single-screen modes to fix console-exclusive bug where it would cause the screen to glitch. Works perfectly in multi-screen modes.
  • Fixed console-multiplayer-exclusive bug where the water wouldn't display correctly for P1.
  • Changed cannon sound effect to better match its length.
  • Disabled falling animation in the water close to the cannon's end.
  • Better UV mapping for water textures.
  • Waterfall animation marginally changed to be a not-so-obvious pattern.
  • Added missing water collision near cannon's end, which would cause Lakitu to bring you back to the start of the track.
  • Added missing walls below the road in that same area.
  • Better checkpoints at cannon's bridge; Lakitu is significantly less likely to give you the "reverse" arrow while drifting.
  • Marginally improved minimap.
v2.0 2023-08-18 Changelog:
  • Wall collision overhaul: all walls have been remade to prevent items from clipping through occasionally.
  • Cave lighting overhaul: it's much darker now and looks a lot better.
  • Slightly improved vertex painting overall
  • Vertex alpha added to cannon bridge and cave exit, making these transitions visually significantly smoother
